EP Status Report 1 a. Where you are in your process of creating your portfolio (e.g., digital folders and related artifacts, tool choice, actual design, URL, etc.)
- I have created my portfolio and put in my artifacts for content knowledge, pedigogical and professional knowledge skills and dispositions, leadership and collaboration, 21st century technologies and skills. Next, I plan to begin writing my reflections on these artifacts.
b. What your additional categories are that you feel will best represent your identity as a beginning middle grades ELA / SS teacher (at least 2 more than the 5 required ones: content knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, impact on student learning, 21st C technologies and skills)
- I have also created and named my 2 extra folders: Coaching, and Background and Interests. In the coaching sub-page I have put in a slide show of pictures from my previous coaching positions. I plan to also add artifacts from my coaching minor and a document about my coaching philosophy. In the Background and Interests page, I plan to list clubs and organizations within the school and district that I would enjoy becoming a part of and give a brief explanation why for each.
c. What your initial ideas for a theme are (e.g., an intentional focus or creative metaphor that gives insight to your identity as an individual and a beginning middle grades ELA & SS teacher) and related design considerations
-I really like growth as a theme for my portfolio. I have done a lot of growing to become who I am now and I plan to continually grow to become a better educator and help my students grow in their studies and lives as well.

a. I have started working on my reflection paragraphs about the artifacts in my portfolio. I wrote something about all of the artifacts on the first two subpages. (Content Knowledge) and ( Pedagogical and Professional Knowledge Skills & Dispositions).
b. I changed the background of my portfolio to flowers to go along with my theme of growing.
c. I need to add my coaching philosophy paper to the coaching page and finish making reflections statements about each artifact.

a. I added my coaching philosophy paper to my coaching page and wrote reflections on the rest of my pages.
b. I took out the slide-show I had of my coaching experience because it was too busy and flashy. I made a voice-thread instead and I put it in my coaching sub-page. The voice -thread looks and sounds more professional.
c. I still need to work on my background a special interests page to make it look more uniformed and professional.

a. I added my new micro-teaching lesson to the Pedagogical and Professional Knowledge Skills & Dispositions page and wrote a reflection on the lesson.
b. I changed my background again because I didn't like the one that was on there.

a. I changed my main picture on my page today because it was outdated and the presentation is coming up soon.
b. I also added my new unit plan document part 1 about World War 2 and wrote a brief reflection on it.
c. I changed my whole site to weebly because it looks better.
d. I also added a presentation to my coaching page.
